The Scholars continued their fine start last Tuesday when a side consisting of 20 players beat Halesowen 2-1. After taking the lead with a Sam Wilding strike The Yeltz levelled when Jason Cowley scored. The winning goal was scored when Jack Langston hit a winning penalty home. Chasetown’s hopes for next year have been boosted by the signing of Kieran Cook, who has previously played in step three.
